What days are you closed?
We are closed on the following holidays:
New Years Day Labor Day
Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day
July 4th Christmas Day
*If the holiday falls on a weekend, we will be closed on the nearest business day.
We are open shorter hours during some holiday periods, such as the day after Thanksgiving.
We will be sure to give you prior notice.
State of emergency closing:
During business hours - Please make arrangements to pick your child up as soon as possible.
Non-business hours - Our closing will be announced on the following stations;

Local emergency or on-site closings:
Dangerous road conditions, high winds causing falling trees or wires, loss of power or heat.
Call Small World and wait for the answering machine. If the machine does not pickup we have a power failure. Any other emergency will be posted on the machine.

We accept cash, personal checks, as well as Visa and Master card.
How will you ensure my child is healthy and safe while in your care?
Caregivers:
Pass a security clearance
Are trained to maintain a safe environment
Are CPR certified
Attend periodic training workshops
Security:
Pass Point: Small World is a locked facility, only those granted an access card have the ability to enter at will.
All other visitors must first be cleared by one off Small World’s office staff.
The access card also acts as a tracking system, allowing us to monitor each entry and exit.
Security cameras: Each classroom and playground is monitored by security cameras.
Dismissal: Upon registration, you will create an approved pick-up list for your child.
Any person not on the list will not be allowed to pick up your child, unless you inform us in writing that you intend
for someone not on the list to pick up your child. This person will need to ring the bell at the main entrance,
be cleared by a member of the office staff, and sign our register.
